Continuing Master's Degree Programmes
The standard duration of the Master's follow-up study programme is two years, after graduation the graduates are awarded the degree of Master, abbreviated as Mgr. (for Software Engineering the degree of Ing.). All programmes are taught full-time (full-time study). The candidate/student chooses the specialisation (field of study).
Czech study programs
-
Theoretical Computer Science

-
Artificial Intelligence and Data Processing
The study focuses on artificial intelligence, machine learning, neural networks, statistics, data visualisation and big data processing technologies.
-
Visual Informatics
The study prepares students to work with image information and models of spatial scenes, which includes areas such as computer graphics, image processing, visualization, computer vision, virtual and augmented reality, video processing, pattern recognition, human-computer communication, 3D...
-
Computer systems, communications and security
The study will prepare the graduate to have a good understanding of the architectures, principles, methods of designing and operating secure computer systems.
-
Digital Linguistics
Graduates in the Czech program with a mandatory one-semester trip to a partner university abroad will gain experience in the analysis and processing of linguistic data or the creation and use of linguistic resources.
-
Management of software systems and services
The study develops a unique competency profile for the student based on the intersection of knowledge from multiple fields relevant to the management of software systems and services development as well as management in the field of cybersecurity.
-
Software Engineering
The study focuses on software engineering, including an understanding of the deeper context required when working on large-scale software projects where individual decisions within software development have a critical impact on the quality and viability of the resulting system and the services it provides.
-
Computer Science Teaching for Secondary Schools
The study leads to a teaching endorsement in Computer Science, combined with either a second secondary school endorsement or a professional degree in Computer Science, specifically with a particular focus on the management of information systems in a small or medium-sized business or school.
