Information for newly admitted bachelor students

Enrollment at the Faculty of Informatics will take place online on June 28 from 12:00 to July 11, 2021.
Don't forget that only by enrolling in your studies do you become our student.
If you do not register within the deadline set for enrollment, or do not properly apologize within 5 days of the enrollment, this behavior is seen as an expression of the will not to become a student.
The schedule of the academic year is published here . Teaching for the semester Autumn 2021 begins on September 13, 2021 .
Registration of compulsory and optional subjects according to the recommended study plan at our faculty takes place until 8 August 2021.
The schedule will be published on September 4, 2021.
Enrollment in seminar groups will take place from 6 September from 5 pm to 26 September 202 1.
Enrollment at the Faculty of Informatics will take place online on June 28 (from 12:00) - July 11, 2021 in the application E-application . Watch this site, we will gradually add important information to the registration so that you know everything you need before it takes place.
Pursuant to Section 61, Paragraph 1 of the Act, an applicant becomes a university student on the day of his / her enrollment in studies.
If the candidate does not register within the deadline set for enrollment, or does not properly apologize within 5 days of its holding, this behavior is seen as an expression of the will not to become a student.
Alternative registration deadline
If the applicant does not register in due time, it is possible to apologize via e-mail to the study department, no later than 5 days after the regular enrollment, and may be granted an alternative enrollment date (in September 2021).
The "identification" process will take place at FI in two ways:
The eidentita.cz portal serves as a tool for secure and guaranteed verification of the identity of the user of online public administration services. There are various ways to prove your identity online means of identification .
To identify you, you will need a device with a camera and a microphone and proof of identity (ID card, passport). If possible, please use the integrated webcam on your laptop or an external camera connected to your desktop computer.
The application of the user will carry out the whole process step by step, just follow the displayed instructions. The person gradually confirms that he wants to verify his identity, records his face and proof of identity. After the recording is completed, the request for identification is automatically made available to the staff of the study department, or other authorized persons. If the video recording is OK, the request for identification is approved and the user is sent an automatic e-mail with a link to set a new primary password to the MU IS. Then the whole process is successfully completed.

Make the identification as soon as possible, as without the identification you will not be able to download the electronic certificate of study yourself.
The process of "documenting secondary education" will take place at FI in two ways:
Evidence of achieving secondary education with a school-leaving examination as soon as possible after receiving the school-leaving certificate, ideally by 31 August 2021 . Otherwise, the faculty will decide on the revocation of the admission decision, without the possibility of appeal.
You can prove your secondary education in the following ways:
1. Online by uploading documents to the e-application
Valid for graduation certificates from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Then for Hungary, Germany, Poland, Slovenia. In the case of documents issued in a language other than Czech, Slovak or English, an official translation must also be attached.
The document must be inserted in the form of an electronic document created by an authorized conversion.
Authorized conversion can be performed, for example, at Czech Post or at Czech POINT.

2. Delivery of an officially certified copy of the school-leaving certificate by post to the following address: Study Department of FI, Botanická 68a, 602 00 Brno
Applies to all countries except the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, Poland and Slovenia.
Send proof of secondary education: an officially certified copy of the school-leaving certificate with a translation into Czech or English together with an officially certified copy of the nostrification clause on secondary education or all 3 documents required for processing verification of foreign education by the faculty
If the applicant has completed previous studies abroad , it is necessary to meet one of the following options for the purposes of enrollment:
Both are issued by the education departments of the regional authorities. The documents are generally valid in the Czech Republic for other occasions. You can find information on the process of recognizing foreign education in the Czech Republic here .
If in the Czech Republic it is automatically equivalent according to its international obligations without further official procedure, in the form of an officially certified copy with an official translation into Czech or English (translations are not required for documents issued in Slovak or English).
