Identification

After online enrolment, you need to identify yourself. We recommend that you identify yourself as soon as possible, but no later than 31 August 2025.

If you have previously studied at Masaryk University and have been issued a primary password, re-identification does not apply to you.

Applicants with an alternative enrolment date have a postponed deadline for identification. However, you can create an e-identity on the state portals in advance.

You will not be able to have a certificate of completion created without an identification made, even if you are already enrolled.

1. First of all, make an e-identity using the Citizen's Identity portal or Slovak eID.
2. Identify yourself in the IS MU. After logging in to IS MU, you should see the Ověřit totožnost button on the main page. Follow the instructions in the Identity Verification application.
