|Project Annotation||UltraGrid from Laboratory of Advanced Networking Technologies is a software for real-time transmissions of high-definition video. UltraGrid is capable of both compressed and uncompressed transmissions of full HD video (1920x1080 @ 30i/25i) with 90ms end-to-end latency. The project goals are iHDTV compatibility, UltraGrid modularization, sound transmission, and support of others video resolutions.|

|Project Title||Tools for verification of VHDL designs|

|Project Annotation||Goal of this project is to enrich a group of hardware verification tools for VHDL designs. Especially, the product of the proposed project is a compiler of VHDL programs into unified XML format. Additional work comprises a static analyser for detection of specific errors in programs and support for further work on hardware verification.|

|Project Title||Development of the mod_auth_kerb authentication module|

|Project Annotation||Further development of the mod_auth_kerb module that enables to intergrate the Kerberos authentication mechanism with the Apache web server. The main goal of the project is to support the new framework for authentication module introduced in Apache v. 2.2. During the project we will create a Kerberos provider and another glue layer that allows the module to be easily integrated in the Apache architecture.|

|Project Annotation||The goal of this work is extending existing system DŽEMUj (Knowledge discovery of elearning MU) by creating interactive Java applets for visualization frequent patterns, decision trees and hierachical cluster analysis. |Project Title||A Specialist Journal Processing System with the Capability of Exporting to a Digital Library|

|Project Annotation||The goal of the project is to prepare a comprehensive specialist journal processing system based on the TeX typesetting system. The system automates the preparation of issues and simultaneously generates the materials needed for a digital library. Processing of archival digital-born articles into digital-library-suitable form is part of the project as well.|

|Title of Project||GeNeSim – a tool for analysis of biological networks|

|Project Annotation||Stateoftheart research on genetics and systems biology nowadays shifts the traditional structural biological research to systematic analysis of mechanisms driving living organisms. The main goal of this project is to develop a tool GeNeSim for discrete analysis of large biological network models. In GeNeSim, these models are considered as finitestate automata. The employed analysis technique is an adaptation of model checking that enables qualitative analysis of biological models.|
