Recognition of study and work placements abroad for study at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University

The basic condition for the recognition of modules completed abroad, as stipulated by the Faculty of Informatics, is the enrolment in at least 75% of the credits for subject-specific modules across all mobility programmes.

The table below lists the modules that can be studied at the specified university and recognised upon return as compulsory or compulsory-optional modules at the Faculty of Informatics.

The recognition of study and work placements abroad for the purposes of study at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University, is governed by Masaryk University Rector’s Directive No. 2/2024 Rules for the Registration of Students’ Stays Abroad and the Recognition of their Results ( effective from 1 August 2024) and the Methodological Note of the Director of the International Office of Masaryk University No. 1/2024 Recording of Masaryk University students’ stays abroad and the recognition of their results and its annexes (effective from 1 August 2024) for Bachelor’s and Master’s students and Methodological Note OV RMU 2/2024 Stays Abroad by Doctoral Students (effective from 1 September 2024) for PhD students.

The Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University (FI MU) has also designated ‘authorised persons’ who fulfil the role of authorised persons within the meaning of MU Rector’s Directive No. 2/2024, and this is supplemented by Measure No. 09/2024 of the Dean of the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University: Authorisation of persons responsible for the recognition of the results of students’ study and work placements abroad at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University.

On the basis of this measure, the Vice-Dean for Undergraduate Studies has authorised individual programme coordinators to approve students’ Learning Agreements within the Erasmus programme in Europe; these coordinators manage the individual agreements. The names of these coordinators are listed in the list of agreements on the FI Erasmus page.
For all other mobility programmes, including all work placements, the authorised person is the Vice-Dean for Undergraduate Studies at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University. Please forward documents for signature to him via the Department of Doctoral and International Studies at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University.
