Informatics in education
The aim of this bachelor's study is to equip you with professional knowledge and the necessary minimum of psychological-pedagogical knowledge for successful operation in education in the field of informatics.
If you decide to continue in the follow-up master's program after completing this program, you will be fully prepared for the performance of the secondary school teaching profession.
It is only possible to study the education in informatics offered by the Faculty of Informatics in combination with the programs of the Faculty of Science listed below. The study is interfaculty, but it is registered at the Faculty of Science, where it is also necessary to apply for the study.

In the study catalog you will find lists of compulsory and optional subjects and a recommended course of study.
Part of this study program is a compulsory pedagogical, continuous and reflected assistance practice in the total amount of about 110 hours (4 ECTS credits).
Relevant research groups
Students have the opportunity to participate in scientific research or development work within FI research laboratories . At the bachelor's level of study, cooperation takes place typically in the form of laboratory projects or in the form of laboratory-led final theses. Typical topics of such focused bachelor's theses include evaluation of new procedures, implementation of prototypes, or participation in the development of larger SW products.
