Informatics in education
The aim of this bachelor's degree is to equip you with the professional knowledge and the necessary minimum psychological and pedagogical knowledge to be successful in education in the professional field of informatics.
If you decide to pursue a follow-up master's program after completing this program, you will be fully prepared to pursue a secondary school teaching profession.
You can only study computer science education offered by the Faculty of Computer Science in combination with the Faculty of Science programs listed below. The study is inter-faculty, but is registered on a tribal basis at the Faculty of Science, where you must also apply to study.

The graduate is prepared to continue his/her studies in the continuing teacher education program at MU, or may work in various training centers with a focus on information technology training.

This study programme includes compulsory teaching, continuous and reflective assistantship practice totalling approximately 110 hours (4 ECTS credits).
Relevant research groups
Students have the opportunity to engage in scientific research or development work within the FI research laboratories. At the Bachelor's level of study, collaboration typically takes place in the form of laboratory projects or laboratory-led theses. Typical topics of such focused bachelor theses include evaluation of new procedures, implementation of prototypes, or participation in the development of larger software products.
