When using most FI services, SSL certificates signed by Let's Encrypt, or more commonly TERENA or Sectigo, are used for secure connections. These should work on most systems without any problems or the need to manually install the issuing authority's certificate.
For some services, however, for technical reasons it is simply not possible to use these more "official" certificate authorities. For example, information systems of other schools operated by the Faculty of Informatics. In such cases, the following certificate authority of the Faculty of Informatics is used:
