Individual Study Plan "ISP"
The ISP consists of two main parts:
- The individual study plan is a plan for the entire study (especially the focus of the research and the dissertation topic).
– at the very beginning of the 1st semester of study it is necessary to fill in the boxes titled:
"Plan for the 1st term"
"Doctoral thesis" - the student describes the topic of study and the main planned goals (max. 500 characters)
"Publication activities" - the student lists the expected publication forums to which he plans to target his
publications (max. 200 characters)
Filling in other boxes is possible, but not mandatory and decisive for initial approval by the Doctoral board at
the beginning of doctoral studies.
– by the end of the 1st semester students with their supervisor subsequently develop the entire ISP (all boxes),
and in subsequent semesters they do not return to editing the ISP unless the topic or direction of research has changed.
In the case of an ISP change, the plan must be approved by the Doctoral board again.
- Term evaluation is an evaluation of the ending semester and a plan for the upcoming semester.
– students must fill out this evaluation one month before each new semester begins, followed by their supervisors' feedback and evaluation.
