Individual Study Plan "ISP"

The ISP consists of two main parts:

Current deadlines (valid for FI) for completing the ISP in IS

by 20. 8. 2025 - student
- PhD candidate's feedback - evaluation of the ending term and plan for the upcoming term
by 27. 8. 2025 - supervisor
- evaluation of the completed semester and expression of agreement/disagreement with the progression to the next semester



Access to ISP in IS

Students

Supervisors
IS MU > Personal administration > Supervisor > Doctoral students > Approval and evaluation of individual study plans Ph.D. - set the ending semester > Term evaluation > Approve enrolment in the next term (leads to edit the boxes with Yes/No options for supervisor's agreement with progress to the upcoming term, add Supervisor's evaluation)

Fulfillment of key obligations

Doctoral thesis – the ODZS fills in upon submission of the dissertation.
Theoretical training – the ODZS fills in upon completion of credits for the entire study and mandatory courses.
Internships and international cooperation – the ODZS fills in upon completing 30 days of internship abroad.
Language competencies – the ODZS fills in upon completion of the DACSE course.
Transferable skills and career development – the ODZS fills in upon completing the DUVOD course.
State doctoral examination – the ODZS fills in upon successfully completing the SDE.
Pedagogical competencies – the ODZS fills in upon completion of 150 hours after agreement with the Personnel office.
Conferences and academic forums – the ODZS fills in upon the instruction/command of the doctoral committee
– in the semester evaluation, the supervisor will state whether the student gave a lecture in English at a conference or other professional forum
(e.g. Computer science colloquium – lecture – yes, conference – lecture – yes, poster – must be assessed individually)
Publication activities – the ODZS fills in upon the instructions of the Doctoral board if, from the Doctoral board’s point of view, the minimum requirement for publication activity is met; however, not before the doctoral thesis proposal has been defended.
