The Master's Degree Programmes are open to students holding a Bachelor's or equivalent degree. Applicants must have a good command of English language.
The deadline for submitting applications for studies in English commencing in the Autumn term is 30th April. The deadline is considered met if the application is submitted electronically by the last day of the period indicated.
Applications for studies have to be submitted electronically. Electronic applications have several advantages. Filling out the electronic application form generates an access password for further contact with the appropriate faculty as well as an individual variable symbol for payment of the administration fee (which should not be paid before this number is known). This enables an applicant to check via Internet whether the payment has been received and the application accepted. The faculty Office for Studies can also pass on information about the entrance examinations and other matters via e-mail.
The application fee to our faculty is 600 CZK (25 EUR). Forms of payment can be found in the electronic application. If the application is submitted electronically, it is not necessary to send the faculty proof of payment. Applicants who do not appear for the entrance examinations will not have the application fee reimbursed.
For the application process to the Master studies the applicant needs to submit, except the electronic application, the following documents:
- Certified copy of the Bachelor Diploma or some other higher education diploma
- Official college transcript completed for a Bachelor degree programme with evaluation and subjects' annotations (Diploma Supplement)
All application materials should be in Czech or in English. Diplomas and certificates whose original
language is not English or Czech should be accompanied by an official English language translation,
stamped and signed by a translation agency or an authorized university office. This materials
should by send by email to Office for International Affairs:
