Partner universities

This programme allows for a specific number of days per year for the exchange of staff between institutions.

From the many foreign universities with which Masaryk University has signed bilateral agreements, nine are designated as partner universities:

  • Wroclav, Poland
  • Poznaň, Poland
  • Regensburg, Germany
  • Greifswald, Germany
  • Wien, Austria
  • Szeged, Hungary
  • Pécs, Hungary
  • Bratislava, Slovakia

Information about the application procedure:

The Faculties' Foreign Departments cooperate in the decision on the number of quotas and on the nomination process, which takes place in February every year.
The Office for International Studies or the Faculty's Foreign Department provides the applicant with the contact information at the partner university and a confirmation of the proposed arrival date.
As soon as exact dates of the stay are agreed, the Office for International Studies informs the partner university in that respect, so that accomodation and per diems can be arranged.
The stay is required to be realised before the end of November of the calendar year for which it was agreed. It is also required to apply for the finance refund within 10 days from the return date.
Travelling costs are refunded by the Faculty. The partner university arranges and covers the cost of accommodation and provides the partner scholars with per diems.

Erasmus+ outside Europe

This initiative enables European teachers to undertake study visits, research stays and internships in selected countries outside the continent. The same opportunities at European universities are offered in return to teachers and researchers from these non European countries.
