SKAS FI: We have now have a bulletin board
TL;DR: in the Life at MU column on the IS homepage, you should see short posts from us, FI student senators, from time to time
Hi,
we now have a bulletin board! We've been trying to figure out how to effectively communicate towards other students for a while now and give them updates on what's going on at FI right now, which we're often the first to hear about. In the past, there was a Discussion Forum, but it has been irreversibly deleted; we have opted for this Bulletin Board, whose Highlight feature in the IS should help us reach as many of you as possible.
Who are we, anyway? We are 4 students who share a positive relationship with the faculty and would like to contribute to its development, which is perhaps why we ran for the Faculty Academic Senate last year. Staying informed about current events is the first step. You can comment on the posts (e.g. point out any flaws, which I'm sure there are some, we're only human after all) right here on the message board in the comments below the post, by email, or in the #senát-diskuse channel on the unofficial faculty Discord server if you've been used to doing so.
And what do we want to post here? News from the senate, but also from the dean's colleges or meetings of other bodies at FI related to students, news of student association events, changes in regulations... in short, anything that somehow affects all of us as FI students and thus might be of interest.
