Ladies and gentlemen,
We would like to inform you that this year we continue our long tradition and announce the 24th year of the Werner von Siemens Prize for students, teachers, and scientists in technical and natural sciences in the Czech Republic.
REMEMBER: Individual institutions/universities nominate their candidates directly in the categories of Best Educator and Special Award for Overcoming Barriers for Disadvantaged Students.

For the 24th year, 8 categories are prepared with a total financial subsidy of CZK 900,000.
Competition category:
1. The most important result of basic research
(individual / team)
Total reward: 300,000 CZK
2. The best diploma thesis
(50,000 students + 50,000 leaders, 30,000 + 30,000, 20,000 + 20,000)
Total reward: CZK 200,000
3. The best dissertation
(50,000 students + 50,000 tutors, 30,000 + 30,000, 20,000 + 20,000)
Total reward: CZK 200,000
4. The best pedagogical worker
Total reward: 50,000 CZK
5. Special award for overcoming obstacles in study
Total reward: 50,000 CZK
6. Special Prize Award for the outstanding quality of women's scientific work
Total reward: 20,000 CZK
7. Best graduate (diploma/dissertation) thesis - Industry 4.0
Total reward: 20,000 CZK
8. The best graduate (diploma/dissertation) thesis - Smart infrastructure and energy
Total reward: 20,000 CZK
The number of registered students/researchers and the number of nominations for a university/institute are not limited.
The general public can recommend the winner - any of the employees, students, parents, etc., and if the nominee wins, he/she receives a referral reward of CZK 10,000.
The competition was again sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
