Support for participation in the CESCG seminar
Are you working on an interesting master's thesis or other project in the field of computer graphics, image processing, visualization, or human-computer interaction? Would you like to know what a scientific conference looks like? Are you considering doctoral studies? Join the CESCG seminar and receive financial support to participate in this unique student conference.
What is CESCG?
The Central European Seminar on Computer Graphics is a seminar, or rather a student conference, focused on computer graphics and related areas. Participants have the opportunity to present their student research projects and meet with experts and representatives of companies in the field of computer graphics from Central Europe. Before the conference itself, students will get experience in preparing a scientific article. They will then receive feedback from three international experts and present their results at the conference. The event also includes workshops and training courses.
Who can participate?
The event is particularly suitable for students of the NVIZ Visual Informatics master's degree program. In exceptional cases, it is possible to support other master or bachelor students who demonstrate excellent results in the field of computer graphics.
How and what kind of support can I get from FI?
The expected amount of support is approximately CZK 10,000, which should cover the costs associated with participation in the event. The condition for receiving financial support is active participation in the seminar, i.e., preparation and presentation of a scientific article describing one's research results. Furthermore, the quality of student’s work will also be assessed when allocating support. In case of great interest, only selected projects will be supported.
