From algorithms to art: The Generative exhibition

On December 18, 2024, the GENERATIVE exhibition took place at FI MU, showcasing the audiovisual works of students from the Visual Informatics program. The exhibition drew an enthusiastic audience eager to explore the creative work of FI students in digital design and algorithm-generated art.

What did the exhibition offer?

19 projects presented personally by their authors, who explained the concepts, creative processes, and ideas behind their works. Some projects were even interactive, allowing visitors to engage directly with the pieces.

Musical accompaniment by Zkrat Kolektiv, which added a unique atmosphere to the evening.

The exhibition attracted many visitors, reflecting the growing interest in digital art and algorithmic creativity. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended for their support and interest. Special thanks go to the authors of the projects for their effort and willingness to share their ideas: Patrik Bašo, Timotej Džugas, Terézia Fialová, Marek Gottwald, Lubomír Hrbáček, Ondřej Chudíček, Dziyana Khrystsiuk, Katarína Kortánová, Jakub Krištof, Michaela Lodňanová, Martin Müller, Jakub Nezval, Marek Skácelík, Vojtěch Struhár, Lukáš Ševc, Ondřej Šimeček, Nina Štefeková, Petra Hana Štěpánová, and Ľubomír Vargovčík.
