Invitation to a talk by Filip Dvořák from Filuta AI

We warmly invite all students and faculty to a special talk on January 14th at 2:30 PM in room A217. The talk will be delivered by Filip Dvořák from Filuta AI, and the topic is Zero-maintenance Game Testing with Planning Agents.

Abstract: Decades of research in Planning Agents for autonomous control in Earth’s orbit and Space started to be leveraged in industries on Earth, from healthcare and manufacturing up to automated gameplaying. In this talk, we show how Planning Agents can exponentially reduce efforts in maintaining test scripts, reduce the total time of game testing by an order of magnitude, continually evaluate the cognitive complexity of gameplay, and how automated domain synthesis and large language models minimize the efforts needed for integrating Planning Agents into games at any stage of development.

Bio: Filip Dvorak is a distinguished artificial intelligence expert from the Czech Republic. He has served as a researcher and developer for leading Silicon Valley companies, including Google and Microsoft, and has played pivotal roles in several AI startups within the San Francisco Bay Area, some of which achieved successful acquisitions. Filip earned his doctorate in Artificial Intelligence from Charles University in Prague. His research career includes positions at the University of Toronto, Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), and SLB, where he focused on the applications of autonomous agents in logistics, manufacturing, and energy. His work has resulted in numerous patents and the deployment of AI solutions in production environments.

In September 2022, he founded Filuta AI, a startup specializing in composite artificial intelligence and advanced AI planning techniques, with a particular focus on autonomous agents for automated QA. We look forward to seeing you there!
