Winter School XAI 2025: Registration Now Open!
At the beginning of the new year, the Winter School XAI 2025 will take place from January 6 to 10, 2025, at two prestigious institutions: the Masaryk Oncology Institute in Brno and the Medical University of Graz.
This exceptional program will focus on practical applications of cutting-edgeartificial intelligence (AI) techniques in digital pathology.
Researchers from the BioMedAI project from the Faculty of Informatics and the Institute of Computer Science at Masaryk University Aleš Horák and Petr Holub and other experts in AI in pathology will also lead part of the programme. Participants can look forward to lectures and hands-on workshops that combine top-tier research with real-world clinical applications.
The program will cover:
- training in AI-assisted diagnostics,
- the importance of explainability in medical AI,
- certification processes for AI systems under the In Vitro Diagnostic Regulation (IVDR),
- practical work with digital data, including whole-slide images and clinical datasets.
Attendees will also gain key skills in data preparation for AI, deepen their understanding of privacy protection, and explore the latest trends in digital pathology.
