FI MU Ph.D. alumnus receives the most important Austrian prize for young scientists
His Ph.D. studies supervizor at FI MU was prof. Hliněný. Then his journey led
him to Austria. He visited us recently at DIMEA Days. Currently, Robert Ganian
has received the Austrian equivalent of the most prestigious ERC starting grant.
The FWF (Fonds zur Förderung der wissenschaftlichen Forschung - Fund for the
Support of Scientific Research) will provide him with EUR 1.2 million for a
project linking complexity theory with artificial intelligence. Congratulations!
