Ross J. Anderson is coming to Brno to receive an honorary doctorate from FI MU
Ross J. Anderson, professor of security engineering at the Cambridge University Computer Laboratory, is coming to Brno to receive an honorary doctorate from MU in computer science. On this occasion, he will also present the topic "Sustainability of Security, Protection and Privacy" as part of the MUNI Seminar Series.
The award ceremony will take place on April 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., in the Masaryk University Auditorium at the Faculty of Law (Veveří 70, Brno). Due to the limited capacity of the hall, it is necessary to confirm participation in the ceremony.
The seminar "Sustainability of Security, Safety and Privacy" will follow at 16:30h in the refectory of the Mendel Museum in the Augustinian Abbey (Mendlovo náměstí 1A, Brno).
The event, which was supposed to take place in spring 2020, was originally postponed due to the epidemic situation. We are therefore pleased that we can now welcome this long-time friend of the Faculty of Informatics of MU in person.
