Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Engaging with development teams on the design, deployment and operations of cloud
- based solutions, and supporting them as they transition to production.
- Using automation and tooling to continuously improve the reliability, scalability and velocity
- Effectively communicate to stakeholders and project team members to ensure proper
- visibility into development efforts
- Provide code and peer reviews
- Perform root cause analysis
- Design user scenarios, test cases, and write automated tests
- Produce well-designed, testable, and maintainable software
Skills:
- Experience with scripting or programing languages (Bash, Python, etc..)
- Familiarity with a Unix based OS
Considered a plus:
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Bamboo, Tekton)
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and methodologies
- Experience with containers, Terraform, or cloud orchestration
- Experience with large-scale software development processes and multi-region deployments
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet)
- Knowledge in API development and management
- Basic knowledge of various database platforms, preferably from Oracle
