    Software Engineer – Sensing, Guidance & Navigation

    If you are passionate about developing and testing unique solutions, overcoming challenges and limitations of concurrent technology, and introducing new creative ideas forming the future of navigation systems worldwide, keep on reading.

    We are currently looking for a new team member - Software Engineer - to become part of the Aerospace division, Sensing, Guidance & Navigation group. Our team is focused on commercial Alternative Navigation means, Inertial Navigation products and direct support of EMEA customers. If you are an engineer with real passion for sensor technology, knowledge of embedded systems and programming in C (and/or C++), let us know!

    EXAMPLE OF TASKS WAITING FOR YOU

    • Develop driver pack (e.g. UART, SPI)
    • Integrate and test devices and/or aiding sources (connect devices, prepare/update cables, collect data, help with evaluation)
    • Create unit test for specific software component, execute and present results
    • Contribute to prototyping activities focused on novel means of navigation

    • Small navigator for Unmanned Aerial Systems
    • Velocity aiding system

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Gather requirements
    • Develop software solution (i.e. code)
    • Test the solution at software level, create unit tests, contribute to verification and validation activities
    • Support integration and system validation activities against requirements
    • Introduce new innovative ideas and concepts

    YOUR QUALIFICATION

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Computer Science
    • Good knowledge of C, knowledge of C++
    • Knowledge of embedded systems (software/hardware) development, integration, and test
    • Communicative level of English
    • Suitable for graduates

    WE VALUE

    • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python)
    • Knowledge of Atlassian toolchain (JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
    • Knowledge of communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet etc.) and their debugging
    • Experience with MATLAB
    • Knowledge of RTOS systems (e.g. FreeRTOS)
    • Knowledge of Linux/ROS development
    • Practical knowledge of product development in virtual teams
