<IMG attribute1 attribute2>
Places an inline image into the document.
1. SRC="..."--Specifies the URL address of the image. A required attribute for every IMG tag.
2. ALT="..."--Specifies a text description of the image which is used instead of the image when it cannot be displayed (when there's no image at the location specified, with text-only browsers.)
3. ALIGN="..."--Specifies the alignment of the image.
  1. LEFT or RIGHT--Specifies the image alignment with the right or left edge of the browser window. All the text gets wrapped around the image.
  2. TOP, MIDDLE, BOTTOM, ABSMIDDLE, ABSBOTTOM, TEXTTOP, and BASELINE --Specifies the vertical alignment of the image with other items on the same line.
4. BORDER="..."--Specifies the width (in pixels) of the border drawn around the image. If the value is set to "0", the border is suppressed, even when the image serves as a hyperlink.
5. WIDTH="..."--Specifies the width (in pixels) of the image. The image then is scaled to fit the width.
6. HEIGHT="..."--Specifies the height (in pixels) of the image. The image then is is scaled to fit the height. When used together with the WIDTH attbibute, it allows to have a better control over the document layout.
7. VSPACE="..."--Specifies the amount of white space (in pixels) between the upper and the lower edges of the image and the items above or below it.
8. HSPACE="..."--Specifies the amount of white space (in pixels) between the left and the right edges of the image and the items to the left or right of it.
9. LOWSRC="..."--Specifies the URL of an image to be loaded first, before the image specified in SRC is loaded. LOWSRC usually refers to a smaller image.
10. USEMAP="#map_name"--Indicates that the image serves as a client-side clickable imagemap defined with the MAP element under the name "map_name".
11. ISMAP--Indicates that the image serves as a server-side clickable image map (e.g. <a href="/cgi-bin/my_map.map"><img src="my_map.gif" ismap border=0></a>.) You have to have a CGI program supporting this attribute. Be advised to use client-side imagemapping instead whenever possible.
12. DYNSRC="..."--Specifies the URL of a video clip or a VRML data. An image can also be specified first using SRC= to allow for browsers that do not support videos. (IE)
13. CONTROLS--Adds a set of controls under the video clip. (IE)
14. LOOP="N"--Specifies the number of times to loop through the video clip. A value of "-1" or "INFINITE" makes it loop indefinitely.(IE)
15. START="..."--Specifies when the video clip should start playing. Possible values are FILEOPEN (default), MOUSEOVER, or both.(IE)
<MAP attribute>...< /MAP>
Specifies a collection of clickable areas ("hot spots") that define a client-side image map. The AREA tag can be used inside to define the hot spots.
1. NAME="..."--Specifies the name of the map. This is then used by the USEMAP attribute on the IMG element to reference the map.
<AREA attribute1 attribute2>...< /AREA>
Specifies the shape and size of a clickable area to be used in the definition of a client-side image map. The image area defined in such way is then bound to a URL address. It is used inside the MAP tag.
1. SHAPE="..."--Specifies the shape of the clickable area. Possible values are RECT or RECTANGLE (the default), CIRC or CIRCLE, POLY or POLYGON.
2. COORDS="..."--Specifies the coordinates that define the clickable area position. Each of the shapes has its own way of taking coordinates:
  
  shape=rect coords="left-x, top-y, right-x, bottom-y"
  shape=circle coords="center-x, center-y, radius"
  shape=poly coords="x1,y1, x2,y2, x3,y3, ..."
  Here x and y are measured in pixels from the left/top of the associated image. If x and y values are immediately followed by a percent sign (e.g. SHAPE=RECT COORDS="0, 0, 25%, 50%"), they are interpreted as percentages of the image's width and height, respectively. If there is an overlap betwen regions, the region defined first supercedes the the other ones.
3. HREF="..."--Specifies the URL that this hot spot points to.
4. NOHREF--Indicates the clickable zone is not a hyperlink.
5. TARGET="..."--Specifies which window/frame the link will be loaded into.
  1. "_blank"--Loads the link into a new blank window.
  2. "_parent"--Loads the link into the immediate parent of the document the link is in.
  3. "_self"--Loads the link into the same window. This is the default.
  4. "_top"--Loads the link into the full body of the current window.
<BGSOUND attribute1 attribute2> (IE)
Specifies a background sound to be played whenever the page is loaded. The sound file formats can be shockwave (.wav), liveaudio (.au) or midi (.mid).
1. SRC="..."--Specifies the URL of the sound to be played.
2. LOOP="N"--Specifies the number of times the sound will loop. If the values are -1 or INFINITE, the soundtrack loops indefinitely.
<MARQUEE attribute1 attribute2>...< /MARQUEE> (IE)
Places a scrolling text marquee into the document.
1. ALIGN="..."--Possible values are TOP, MIDDLE, or BOTTOM. Specifies the alignment of the text around the marquee with respect to the marquee.
2. BEHAVIOR="..."--Possible values of SCROLL (default), SLIDE, or ALTERNATE. Specifies the behavior of the marquee text. SCROLL is the default, SLIDE makes the text start from off the screen and then stick, ALTERNATE makes the text alternate back and forth repeatedly.
3. BGCOLOR="..."--Specifies the background color of the marquee.
4. DIRECTION="..."--Specifies the direction for the text to scroll. Possible values are LEFT (default), or RIGHT.
5. HEIGHT="..."--Specifies the height of the marquee (in pixels or as a percentage of the window size).
6. HSPACE="N"--Specifies the left and right margins of the outside of the marquee in pixels.
7. LOOP="N"--Specifies the number of times the marquee will loop. If the values are -1 or INFINITE, the marquee loops indefinitely.
8. SCROLLAMOUNT="N"--Specifies the number of pixels between each successive draw of the marquee text.
9. SCROLLDELAY="N"--Specifies the number of milliseconds between each successive draw of the marquee text.
10. VSPACE="N"--Specifies the top and bottom margin for the outside of the marquee.
11. WIDTH="..."--Specifies the width of the marquee (in pixels or in a percentage of the screen).
<APPLET attribute1 attribute2> parameter1 parameter2 ... </APPLET>
Embeds Java applet in the HTML document. Any extra text or HTML code placed betwen the opening and closing APPLET tags is ignored by Java-compatible browsers, but it will be displayed by browsers that do not support JAVA.
1. NAME="..."--Specifies the name of the applet instance, in case there are more than one of the same applet on the page.
  Parameters:
  PARAM -- these are the applet-specific parameters that are passed as arguments to the program (applet.) They are specified as tags within the APPLET tag (e.g. <PARAM NAME="..." VALUE="..." >).
<EMBED attribute1 attribute2>< /EMBED>
Embeds a multimedia object, such as a sound file or video, into the page.
1. SRC="..."--Specifies the URL address of the object file.
2. AUTOSTART="..."--Specifies whether the file starts playing right away or not. Possible values are TRUE or FALSE.
3. LOOP="..."--Specifies whether the file repeats or not. Possible values are "TRUE" or "FALSE".
4. HEIGHT="..."--Specifies the height of the display (in pixels or as a percentage of the browser window.)
5. WIDTH="..."--Specifies the width of the display (in pixels or as a percentage of the browser window.)
6. NAME="..."--Specifies the name of the object, so that other objects that refer to this one.
<SCRIPT attribute> ...script statements... < /SCRIPT>
Encloses scripting language statements to be executed by the browser. To ensure backward compatibility, enclose the script statements in comment tags ()
1. LANGUAGE="..."--Specifies which language is being used in the script such as "VBScript" or "JavaScript".
2. SRC="..."--Specifies the location of a file containing the script. This can be used if you don't want the code to be on the same HTML file.
<NOSCRIPT> ... < /NOSCRIPT>
Encloses anything you want displayed by browsers that do not support inline scripts. These go inside the SCRIPT tags.
