(N...): Indicated the tag compatibility, starting with a specific version of Netscape Navigator. For example, if you see N2.0 after a tag, it means that that tag is compatible with the Netscape Navigator, version 2.0 and higher.
(Netscape): Indicates that a tag is recognized only by Netscape Navigator.
(IE): Indicates that a tag is recognized only by Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
