A day-long event that will introduce you to the companies in the Industrial Partners Association of our faculty (SPP FI MU).
You will learn more about the opportunities to actively participate in the cooperation between the university and business and how to benefit from this cooperation.

Barbora Bühnová
Vice-dean for external relations and cooperation with partners FI MU, FI MU

Bára Bühnová is an Associate Professor and Vice Dean at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University (FI MU), where she researches technologies in the field of software architectures and critical infrastructures. At FI MU she leads the Association of Industrial Partners and coordinates activities for high school students. Outside of FI MU, he is involved in organizing a number of international conferences and is active in the non-profit organization Czechitas.

Martin Macák
Assistant professor, FI MU

He works at the Faculty of Informatics of Masaryk University (FI MU), where he is engaged in research on process analysis in the context of cybersecurity and software engineering. He and his students have already collaborated on projects with several companies. He himself completed a 6-month research internship at SAP Signavio at the end of his PhD studies. In addition, he has been teaching programming, software engineering and systems development in .NET for several years within the Software Architecture and Information Systems Lab (Lasaris).

Tomáš Grbálik
Senior Software Engineer, Y Soft

Tom works at Y Soft as a Software Engineer in the Research & Development department on the YSoft AIVA project – a hybrid hardware and software solution for automation and quality control. In his work (and in his free time), he is particularly focused on facilitating the transition from development to production and rescuing the development environment that developers tend to break recklessly. When you can't find him behind a computer, he's probably out riding his motorcycle through mountain passes.

Tereza Hrbková
Student, FI MU

Tereza is studying the Computer Systems, Communication and Security program at the Faculty of Informatics. As part of her bachelor's thesis, she collaborated with NXP Semiconductors on research into 2D codes and the development of a system for hardware registration. Outside of FI MU, she is involved in the development of AI solutions in the company Citymind, which she co-founded.

Petr Adamec
Software engineer, Progress Software

Petr is studying Software Engineering with a specialization Design and development of software systems. Two years ago, he joined Progress Software as a software engineer focusing on network detection and response. He is also working with the company on his master's thesis.

Matus Kostka (foto)

Matúš Kostka
Junior Software Developer

Matúš is a Master's student in Software Engineering at the Faculty of Informatics. He has made contributions to several key projects at Lexical Computing. His tasks have included assessing the effectiveness of language pipelines and enhancing Sketch Engine's API documentation. Recently, he has been focusing on processing large text data, known as corpora.

Hana Rudová
Associate professor, research laboratory Sitola, FI MU

Hanka Rudová deals with solving problems in the areas of planning, scheduling and routing, such as transport planning, warehouse operation planning or teaching scheduling. Her work is inspired by real-world problems that she solves using methods such as metaheuristics, constraint programming, and integer programming. She initiated the research and development of the UniTime system, which is used for course scheduling at universities around the world, including most MU faculty. At FI MU, she teaches a number of Master's courses in the field of artificial intelligence.

Marek Grac
Senior Research Specialist, Red Hat Czech

Marek works in the Red Hat Research team, where he is involved in collaborating with research and applying modern technologies in practice. He primarily focuses on areas such as secure data processing and machine learning. He also teaches students from various faculties at Masaryk University how to utilize machine learning in practical applications.

Ivan Púdelka
Development Manager, SAP

Ivan has been working at SAP for six years. Starting as a backend software developer he gradually grew to roles of Scrum Master, Product Owner, and eventually Development Manager. Currently, he leads a team responsible for localization development in the area of finance solutions. Ivan enjoys fostering the development of people’s talents, so they can fully realize their potential.

Jakub Kundrát
Project Manager, InQool

Jakub has 5 years of experience in project management, graphics and marketing. At inQool he is mainly responsible for the development of web portals, for example he participated in the website for the State Institute for Drug Control (SÚKL) and he also stands behind our corporate website. In addition to his role as a project manager, he has a strong affinity for graphics - when he has spare time, he likes to design the entire design of the site himself. His position as PM varies a lot, he comes into contact with developers and clients on a daily basis, but also with graphic designers, testers, other designers, HR and the office manager.

Tereza Sloupenská
Recruitment Lead, Y Soft

Tereza Sloupenská works as a Recruitment Lead & HR Business Partner at Y Soft. She started at the company while studying at the Faculty of Economics and Administration, Masaryk University, where she was responsible for administrative support in recruitment. Gradually, she transitioned to recruiting positions across departments – from marketing, through production roles to technical support and product management. A year and a half ago, her role expanded to include HR Business Partner responsibilities for the hardware division, where colleagues focus comprehensively on the development, production, and distribution of hardware products. In her free time, she enjoys hiking in the mountains with a backpack or cycling on trails around Brno.

Radek Ošlejšek
Associate professor, FI MU

Radek Ošlejšek is an associate professor at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University (FI MU), where he is working on visual data analysis in the field of computer security and forensic morphology. He applies his knowledge of software design in the development of analytical tools for the KYPO Cyber Range security platform and the development of the FIDENTIS Analyst II anthropology application. Previously, he served at FI MU as Vice Dean for Development, Promotion and Lifelong Learning.
