  Introduction to the concept of Czech law governing selected essential aspects directly related to the handling of information,
  from both basic legislative views:
  1) Protection of privacy, information, ownership, etc.
  2) The right to disseminate and obtain information.
  
  In this context, mention will be made in particular of:
  • protection of personality and personal data
  • protection of information as a subject of ownership in terms of civil or commercial law and protection of the subject of intellectual property (in particular copyright protection of software and published information, industrial rights related to software, etc.)
  • the right to obtain information (free access to information and other analogous forms), including the legal limitations of this right
  • the role of the state and other public bodies in the design and operation of public information resources
