Objectives and benefits of the HR Excellence in Research Award
- Increase the prestige and attractiveness of the University and the Faculty for researchers in the Czech Republic and abroad.
- Building contacts with a pan-European network of researchers and organisations.
- Internationalisation and promotion of a bilingual environment, e.g. translation of university and faculty regulations and documents into English, bilingualisation of websites and internal information systems.
- Bonuses or more favourable conditions for obtaining domestic and international grants.
- Improvement of the quality of human resources and working conditions, e.g. ensuring a transparent selection and evaluation process for staff, strengthening the professional development of researchers.
- Responding to current trends, e.g. support in the areas of GDPR, open science, intellectual property rights or knowledge and technology transfer.
Timetable
The timetable for the HR Excellence in Research Awards is a structured mechanism that focuses on three-year cycles of continuous evaluation. It is based on interim evaluations of the organisation focusing on gap analysis and on the development and implementation of action plans for the implementation of the principles of the European Charter for Researchers.
