Faculty questionnaire surveys
Several faculty questionnaire surveys have been conducted over the past 5 years, the results of which informed the first Action Plan and subsequently the refinement of planned actions and the revision of subsequent Action Plans.HRS4R Questionnaire Survey, 2025
An online questionnaire survey among employees, staff and students in FI MU doctoral programmes was conducted from 19 November 2025 to 30 November 2025. All 319 FI employees were contacted to complete the online questionnaire. The overall return rate was 26%, with the highest return rate for academic staff and staff at 45%.
The aim of the survey was to find out how FI MU employees perceive the current state of the work/research environment and to map the faculty's shift in the period after the HRS4R award in important areas and aspects such as equal opportunities and non-discrimination, workplace culture, external and internal communication, social and psychological safety, dealing with unwanted behaviour, training and career development, internationalisation and mobility, gender dimension in research, recruitment and selection of male and female employees, adaptation process, grant, economic or personnel support, employee benefits, reconciliation of work, family and personal life, etc.
Two reports were prepared, namely the Report of the questionnaire survey among academic and non-academic researchers and students of doctoral programmes of FI MU and the Report of the questionnaire survey among administrative and technical-economic staff of FI MU.
In addition, a Summary of the results of the questionnaire survey was prepared, which includes all target groups: Summary of the results of the questionnaire survey (CZ), Summary of the results of the questionnaire survey (EN).
Questionnaire survey as part of the selection process, 2025
An online questionnaire survey on the satisfaction of male and female applicants with the selection procedures carried out at FI has been running since November 2022. The first evaluation of the survey was carried out for the period November 2022 to March 2023. The second evaluation was carried out for the period November 2022 to October 2025. The results obtained for the entire period show that the majority of male and female applicants (76.7%) rate their satisfaction with the entire selection process at our Faculty as 8 to 10 on a 10-point scale. The majority of applicants (85.1%) would recommend FI as an employer to their colleagues, friends, etc.
Results of the questionnaire survey.
Since October 2025, an online questionnaire survey has been running to gather feedback from members of selection panels on FI. The sample for the first survey conducted was all members of the selection panels from the selection procedures that took place at the FI from January 2024 to October 2025. From November 2025 onwards, members of the selection panels from each subsequent completed selection procedure are included in the survey. The investigation identified no deficiencies in faculty compliance with the OTM-R policy or the educational needs of committee members. Several suggestions were obtained to improve the quality of the selection process at FI and have been implemented in practice, e.g. modification of the advertisement text, modification of the website and revision of the FI selection policy.
