Project description

The essence of the project is the creation of favorable conditions for equal opportunities for women and men and the reconciliation of family and working life at the Faculty of Informatics of Masaryk University.

The outputs and activities of the project will be focused both on employers and employees / employees of Masaryk University at IT departments (Faculty of Informatics) and partners and on the wider public. The realization of the project will be supported by the introduction of family-friendly policy and gender-friendly policy at Masaryk University, partner organizations. One of the instruments to achieve the stated goal is to invest in this project, which will include, inter alia, an internal gender audit with an analysis of employee / employee requirements, accompanied by workshops and seminars on reconciliation of family and working life and equal opportunities for managers / workers. An e-learning information portal will be created thematically covering the facts and the necessary assistance in the area of ​​reconciliation of family and working life and equal opportunities and a school for children of parents employed at FI MU will be established and operated.

Project goals

The global objective of the project is to promote equal opportunities for women and men and to reconcile work and family life in the South Moravian Region.

To this end, the specific objectives of the project follow:

  • Promoting the reconciliation of work and family life at the Faculty of Informatics of MU and with partners from business entities
  • increase the motivation of MU and partners to implement measures to promote equal opportunities and reconciliation of work and family life
  • development of childcare services in order to support the reconciliation of work and family life of MU employees / employees at IT workplaces, also with the help of a pilot project of a functioning Children's Corner at FSS MU
  • the development of childcare services to promote the reconciliation of working and family life of employees / employees of partner organizations
