Firewall Technologies Practice
FW technologies practice module is intended for students possessing CCNA up to CCNP networking skills and are interested in the networking security area. The course provides an overview of firewall technologies (ASA, Check Point, Juniper) commonly used in customer environments. Educated technologies do extend students practical security skills required for junior security engineer position.
Mobility Provisioning
Mobility Provisioning Module is intended for students possessing strong networking and Unix/Linux skills and is interested in mobility network management and provisioning. The course provides an overview of mobility networks and shows AT&T’s implementation of mobility network in US. Course topics are intended to improve student’s skills required for junior mobility engineer position.
Global Software Development
This module is intended for students with general experience of front-end and back-end programming languages, and will focus on how they are applied in an international environment. Working with AT&T Brno’s software development team, students will be guided through all aspects of creating and deploying a professional open-source project with one of the biggest companies in the world. With challenges ranging from architecture design to international collaboration, having first-hand experience will give students the confidence and CV strength to take on junior programmer roles around the globe. Students excelling in this course will be prime candidates for positions in leading IT companies, especially AT&T.
Autumn semester application is open until September 29th, 2016.
Successful students will receive 2 credits for PV177 (FW Technology, Mobility), for PV226 (Global SW Dev.).
Content of classes is best suitable for Mgr. students or for students in last year of Bc. programme. Students interested in AT&T Training Center can register by using University Information System http://tinyurl.com/FIMU-PS2016-ATT
Initial qualification test will be organized on October 3rd at the Faculty of Informatics, room B517 (building B, 5th floor).

- Open LAB door – optional self-study opportunity at particular weekend when AT&T LAB will be available only for AT&T Training Center students.
