What is AT&T Training Center?
AT&T developed this method of learning for students eager to put their knowledge to use in practical lab environment, get understanding of technologies used in real working environment and gain hands on experience.

In this module we bring you classes that help you gain technical insight and deep understanding of the mobile networks you are using everyday whenever you touch your phone. We will focus on 3G and 4G LTE Radio Access Network, Core Network as well as Transport Network that binds it all together. We will also bring you the latest news about 5G that is just entering our AT&T Network.
Classes in this module are led by mentors who are networking professionals with years of experience in the mobile and transport networks. The theoretical information will be covered in logical clusters and where possible you will be presented with real network demonstrations or even get a chance to practice by yourself.

Initial Class - Hitchhiker's Guide to the Mobile Network

Phone calls, instant messaging and browsing the Internet is part of our daily routine. Did you ever wonder what path does the packet with your text message take before it reaches mobile phone of your friend? Take a journey thru mobility network and get to know:
- Radio Access Network 3G/4G

Prerequisite for participation in this class is successful completion of the initial class!
This class will further expand the basics you learned in the initial class. You will deep dive into mobility transport network space, all network elements protocols supporting mobility data transport network will be presented to get better overview of how the network works in real environment. You will also be walked through a process of configuring real network scenario with Cisco and Nokia routers that support the mobile network. You will also get opportunity to practice on your own. Welcome to the Transport network:
- Cables, fibers, port assignments
- SIAD, MSN, PE, NTE
- Routing in Transport - static, OSPF, BGP
- Failure recovery
- Differences in bandwidth requirements in 3G, 4G and 5G
- Real examples on network devices
Mobile Network - Deep Dive

If you realized the Mobile Networking is the way you want go after the initial class, join us in this class to raise your skills on the next level. You will learn how the network is designed, maintained and provisioned. You get a chance to meet our engineers and see the procedures and tools they use for implementation configuration changes in the network. Here is a high level overview of the topics:
- ENodeB, NodeB, RNC examples
- Basic configuration procedures
- Alarms and KPIs
- 3G and 4G GUI
How long is one class and where does it take place?
All classes last 1 day with 6-8 hours of tuition on AT&T premises in Campus Square location of Brno – Palachovo nám. 2, 625 00 Brno.
