Test Automation Developer with Java – Part Time - Brno-Slatina

Our team provides Honeywell internal teams with tools to support R&D projects and related software engineering practices (e.g. SCRUM, Continuous Integration, Test Management). Our customers are 10000+ engineers across the globe. Our tools are web applications that we customize, develop, integrate and administer.
Our distributed team consists of engineering consultants, software engineers and administrators. We work together on providing Honeywell engineers with tools that support them in their everyday work.
You:
You are a student of informatics with some experience in Java web development who is interested in software quality and test automation. You want to advance your skills on a real-life project to continue in your career as a software engineer focused on web development, DevOps or test automation. You’re also keen on learning Scrum and practicing English.
Your responsibilities:
As a member of our team, you will work on a development project built on Atlassian platform. You will work closely with the team on setting up test automation environment and implement end to end tests.

Established in 2003, this is the largest R&D centre in Europe for Honeywell. Required Skills and Experience
- BSc in Informatics
- Basic knowledge of Java, experience with web technologies
- Ability to communicate in English on regular basis
- Test automation tool, e.g. Selenium, JMeter
- Java web development technologies, e.g.: Spring, TestNG, AUI, some JavaScript framework (jQuery), Git
- Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Flexible working hours
- Master Thesis supervision
