The physical stickers for ISICs are back!
TL;DR: from August 1, 2025, after paying for Digital Revalidation at the IS MU Shopping Center, you can request a revalidation sticker for your ISIC card at the study department at no extra charge

After a one-year break, it is now possible to get a revalidation sticker for your ISIC card again. Simply order and pay for the ISIC card Digital Revalidation item in the IS Shopping Center and then, as before, request a sticker to be affixed free of charge at the Office for studies in person (just be aware of summer holiday office hours). It is therefore not necessary to complete the process of creating a digital card, i.e. installing the app and creating an account in it. The unified item in the Shopping Center is only used to commit the change to the system of GTS Alive s.r.o., who is the issuer of ISIC cards in the Czech Republic.
The return of stickers would never have happened without a) the efforts of the students and student senators across the university involved in creating, promoting and evaluating the survey among students (in Czech only), and b) the university leadership, which took student feedback on the cancellation of stickers seriously and, based on the survey results, negotiated with GTS Alive regarding changes for the upcoming 2025/26 academic year.
As a result, it is now possible to have only a physical card, only a digital card, or both. In either case, the physical ISIC card always functions on MU premises as a student identification card, e.g., for accessing rooms.
