GA ČR international projects with the Israeli ISF
The Czech Science Foundation (GA CR), in cooperation with the Israel Science Foundation (ISF), has announced a call for project proposals under the Lead Agency evaluation procedure, with the projects expected to commence in 2028.
The evaluation will be carried out under the Lead Agency procedure, with project proposals being assessed by the ISF, which will subsequently provide the evaluation results to GA CR.
The Czech part of the project proposal may be submitted no later than 18 November 2026, i.e. eight days after the official deadline of 10 November 2026 set by the ISF for Israeli applicants.
Please note that, in accordance with ISF rules, the Israeli Principal Investigator must pre-register in the ISF proposal submission system no later than 28 October 2026. This requirement does not apply to the Czech part of the project. In addition, all Israeli applicants must have an ORCID iD. A maximum of four applicants may participate on the Israeli side of a project.
The rules for proposal submission and the statutory declaration form required to demonstrate eligibility can be found under the Tender document section.
For cases where the same individual acts as a Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator in more than one project proposal, the rule set out in Article 3.1 of the Rules applies. However, project proposals submitted under this call will count towards the maximum number of proposals that may be submitted to calls with an expected project start date in 2028.
