The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS) has announced the call LUAKR26 (Czech–Korean cooperation within the INTER-EXCELENCE II programme)
The LUAKR26 call for proposals invites joint Czech–Korean project applications in the categories of basic research, industrial research, or experimental development, focusing on 3 scientific areas:
- BioScience
- Chemical Materials
- Information Technology (Digital)
- Deadline for proposal submission: FI: 22 July 2026, MEYS: 30 July 2026

Project duration: from 1 December 2026 up to 30 November 2029 (i.e. max. 3 years)
- Applicant: research organisation, small/medium/large enterprise (no additional Czech project partner is allowed)

Maximum funding per project: CZK 5 million
- Eligible costs: personnel costs, depreciation, other goods and services, subcontracting, travel, overheads (25%)

Project proposal – in Czech; mandatory annexes – joint research part of the proposal in English (identical for both partners), affidavit, Letter of Intent (in English), CV of the principal investigator (and possibly other key persons)
- Outputs: Jimp; JSc; B; P; F (Fuzit, Fprum); G (Gprot, Gfunk); R; Z (Zpolop, Ztech, Zodru, Zplem) - At least one type of output according to the call documentation is a necessary but not sufficient condition!
