    MEYS - multilateral scientific and technological cooperation in the Danube region

    The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has announced a call for proposals to support cooperation in the Danube region (Call 8X27).

    The call for proposals issued by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports is part of the MSTC Danube program. The main objective of this program is to support the formation of international multilateral research teams that address research, development, and innovation topics with high potential for application in international research programs.

    Call details:

    • Maximum project duration: 24 months (January 1, 2027 – December 31, 2028)
    • Grant amount: depends on the number of project partners. Max. grant amount (i.e., consortium of 5 or more partners) is 350,000 CZK/project (i.e., 175,000 CZK per year).
    • Eligible costs: travel expenses only (exact specifications and limit amounts are listed in the call for proposals, p. 5)
    • Consortium: min. 3 partners (Czech Republic + min. 2 partners from two other countries participating in the MSTC Danube program); additional project participants in the Czech Republic are not permitted. 
    • Countries participating in MSTC Danube: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Montenegro, France, Croatia, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Serbia
