Program L'Oréal–UNESCO For Women in Science 2026
The L'Oréal–UNESCO For Women in Science program announced the opening of applications on February 1, 2026.
In 2026, the award will amount to CZK 600,000 and will be divided among three female scientists. The recipients may use this amount at their own discretion for the direct or indirect development of their careers. In addition to financial support, the winners will also receive media visibility, helping them build professional networks and inspire young girls to pursue careers in science.

- Application period: February 1, 2026 – April 30, 2026
- Results announcement: by May 31, 2026
- Oral project presentation: June 2026
- Total allocation for the call: CZK 600,000
- Maximum funding per project: CZK 200,000
- Eligible applicants: Female scientists up to and including 40 years of age who have obtained a Ph.D. degree in one of the listed scientific fields.
