The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA CR) announces the preparation of the 16th public competition under the SIGMA Programme for the Support of Applied Research and Innovation – Sub-objective 4: Bilateral Cooperation
Basic Information
- Announcement of the public competition: April 22, 2026
- Competition period: April 23, 2026 – June 24, 2026
- Expected date of results announcement: by November 30, 2026
- Project start date: earliest January 2027, latest February 2027 (both dates apply only to the Czech side)
- Project duration: minimum 12 months, maximum 36 months
- Estimated budget for the public competition: CZK 250 million + CZK 40 million for cooperation in the field of nuclear energy
- Maximum funding intensity per project: 75%
- Maximum TA CR funding per project: CZK 20 million
- Eligible applicants: enterprises (must be the main applicant and may also participate as a co-applicant), Research organizations (only as co-applicants)

- Republic of Korea: Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning
- Federal Republic of Germany: Saxon State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour, Energy and Climate Action
- Israel: Israel Innovation Authority
- Taiwan: Ministry of Economic Affairs, National Science and Technology Council
