Ministry of Interior - open call "OPSEC"
The mission of OPSEC is to support research and development activities in the field of security of the state and its citizens in accordance with the characteristic needs of the security system and societal needs of a systemic nature in the field of security in accordance with the Interdepartmental Concept of Support for Security Research of the Czech Republic 2017-2023. The aim is to develop the interest of the research and innovation sphere in engaging in the solution of security challenges for the modern society and thus form the basis for the development of competitive security innovations.
The MV OPSEC competition is announced for three sub-programs:
- Law Enforcement Capability Development
- Crisis preparedness of security and rescue forces
- Resilient Society
The support rate for research organizations is 100%, with a maximum overhead of 10% (flat-rate). The maximum amount of support per project is 50 million CZK.
Deadlines:
- Deadline for proposal submission in ISTA - 8 June 2022 (16:00)
- Submission of the application for research ethics review - by 17 May 2022 (18:00)
- Consultation of results with CTT/ draft contracts - by 27 May 2022
- Publication of competition results - by 15/11/2022
- Start of the project - January 2023
- Project duration - 24-48 months
