FI MU Success at the Czech-Slovak SVOČ 2026: Five Students Received Awards
Five students from the Faculty of Informatics at Masaryk University achieved success at this year's Czech-Slovak Student Scientific and Professional Activities (SVOČ) competition in mathematics and informatics.
All FI MU representatives received awards in their respective categories, marking an outstanding result in competition with students from universities across the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
SVOČ (Student Scientific and Professional Activities) is a traditional showcase of university student research, where participants present the results of their work before expert committees composed of academics and researchers from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This year's edition took place from 24 to 26 May 2026 at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The competition includes eight mathematics categories and four informatics categories.
The Faculty of Informatics MU was represented by five students, all of whom achieved award-winning placements in their categories. In some categories, awards were also presented to additional participants from other Czech and Slovak universities. The overview below lists the results achieved by FI MU students.
