    Studying Ph.D. at FI MU? Push the field boundaries and make the world a better place

    We offer space for the free application of your creativity, deepening knowledge, and forming an expert position. As one of several experts in the field, you will become part of an international scientific network and have the opportunity to push the field boundaries and make the world a better place. You can solve interesting scientific problems in a team with anyone in the world and increase the chance to come up with something new. We offer cooperation with industrial partners, business incubators, institutions, and centers of excellence or Ph.D. internships abroad. It should not go unnoticed that FI MU offers an above-standard level of scholarships.

    At FI MU, you can join an international team around prof. Kráľ, a two-time ERC grant holder. You can participate in socially beneficial research in cybersecurity and work on the latest world discoveries in the field of cryptography, data visualization, or virtual reality. You can choose from 49 supervisors from various areas of research.

    A total number of 203 Ph.D. alumni have graduated at FI MU since 1996. Michal Balážia is a successful alumnus who has won the prestigious Joseph Fourier Award.     Students accepted to programs taught in English may also apply for a university-wide first-year stipend program with possible awards allocated up to 100,000 CZK (EUR 3,850 approx.), with University preference to be given to students from developing countries whose mother tongue is neither Czech nor Slovak.
