21st Film Festival of the Faculty of Informatics MU will be about a CONNECTION
Dear film fans and fans of student movies,
to join the 21st Film Festival of the Faculty of Informatics MU, you will need a good CONNECTION. We are streaming this year again online – on Friday, May 28, 2021, from 19:00 on Youtube and Twitch.
Forty-three films from 2 countries have been submitted for the festival, from MU students and alumni and students of several film schools. The organizers selected 18 best films for the competition section and eight films for the bonus section.
The submitted films compete for prizes with a total value of over 10 thousand CZK, and you too can decide which film will win with your vote. Voting will be possible on our website until Sunday, May 30, when, in the evening, we will announce the winner live.
This year's theme is – as you may have guessed – CONNECTION. For over twenty years, the festival has been connecting students, lecturers, and everyone who wants to create and gives them the opportunity to realize through film speech. Art, films, fantasy, and creation often combine unconnected and connect us across worlds, genres, and themes. No matter how many cables you need to connect to make a movie.
In addition to great prices, you can look forward to an unforgettable experience. The Film Festival of the Faculty of Informatics is one of the largest faculty events, which attracts hundreds of fans every year.
