Tin2marc

Tin2marc is a system for conversion of bibliographic data stored in the T-Series format to format MARC21 for system Aleph. It was created as my PhD Thesis and was used to convert data for all libraries of Masaryk University and for several faculty libraries of Charles University in Prague. It is writen in Java using XML to store the actual set of conversion rules.

Because the system is still being used and it is likely to be used in the future as well I am not leaving the sources nor binaries for download. If you are interested you can see the text of the PhD Thesis in tin2marc.pdf or tin2marc.pdf.zip. Please, feel free to contact me if having any questions.
