If you take pictures from the web through performing an internet search, it is best if you click on the thumbnail that you choose. This will open up a split screen with the thumbnail at the top and the page from which it comes below. Click on the thumbnail again and you will have the picture only. Save it from the File Menu (Alt F - A) into your folder, or right click the picture and choose save. This procedure avoids such problems as copying the hyperlink with the picture into your document.

Back in Word, put the cursor in the cell of the table where you want the picture to appear.  Go to the Insert menu, choose picture, then from file (Alt I - P - F) and it will appear.
