| Description |
The aim of the project is to propose the
design approach and solution techniques for the developement of an automatic
timetabling system at Purdue University. Constraint logic
programming applying soft constraints is studied as a part of the problem
solution. Special models for the solution of demand oriented timetabling
problems will be explored. The intent of the project is also the study and
proposal of the
solution for the minimal perturbation problem via constraint programming
approach.
