Research

My interests are within electronic publishing, math digitization, textual information systems, natural language processing. In particular, language issues in quality typesetting, engineering of electronic publishing and digitization projects and machine learning [by competing patterns].

Teaching

I do teach at the Department of Computer Graphics and Design of Faculty of informatics, Masaryk University, Brno. Electronic Document Preparation, Textual Information Systems and other topics.

TeX, MKM

I am TeX advocate, CSTUG president since 2010 (I was also president during 1995--2000, and board member of TeX Users Group worldwide (1997--2000)). I was MKM trustee (2008--2011).

Towards a Digital Mathematics Library

I participated in project DML-CZ, and I am participating in EuDML project and I have founded DML workshop series Towards a Digital Mathematics Library (since 2012 DML track at CICM: DML 2012, DML 2011, DML 2010, DML 2009, DML 2008.
