What is priority?

Design, implementation and maintenance of reforms in education and training systems with aim to develop employability, increasing the importance of basic and vocational education and training at labour market and continual improvement of skills of training staff.

Whom is the project intended?

The target group is students of Bachelor's and Master's studies with an interest in information technologies and their applications in bioinformatics, biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry and research. Candidates may be in particular students of the Faculty of Informatics and related disciplines of the Faculty of Science, but also students of other faculties of MU with an interest in certain courses of this study field expanding of general knowledge and awareness of future graduate.

What are the objectives of the project?

The primary objective of the project is to implement innovation changes to the study programme Applied Informatics at Bachelor's and Master's level at the Faculty of Informatics, namely in the field of study Bioinformatics. The aim is to extend the existing concept of Bioinformatics in the direction of system and computational biology. Innovated field of study puts the accent on orientation of future graduates in modern interdisciplinary problems.
