Computer Graphics

Field of study: Computer Graphics
Responsible person: doc.Ing.Jiří Sochor, CSc.
Responsible workplace: Department of Computer Graphics and Design

Students attend courses in which gain general knowledge from computer science and up-to-date findings from dynamically unfolding field of computer graphics and its development on basis of interdisciplinary activity and using in other science fields. Students meet with principles of graphic architecture building, mathematical methods used for solving exacting imaging tasks. Study field offers deeper knowledge direct on projection and realization of software applications with using advanced technologies of computer graphic. Graduate is able to work as an analyst, architect and application programmer in fields using computer graphics for simulation, visualisation and solving tasks of human-computer communication.

Tuition structure

Subjects that student has to pass in this study field cover typical informatics areas, e.g. design of algorithms, programming languages, computer networks, operational systems and databases. Within these subjects there are lots of specialised:
  • Computer Graphics
  • Geometric Algorithms
  • Computer Graphics API
  • Advanced Methods of Digital Image Processing
  • Computer Graphics Devices and Architectures - Seminar
Total list of subjects you can find in electronic study catalogue.
