Master’s study programmes
Master’s Degree Programmes are drawn up as consecutive studies for graduates of Bachelor’s programmes. This study programme is determined for students with good primary knowledge and interested in deeper study of informatics as independent science discipline. Applicants must have a good command of Czech language. Standard length of study is 2 years. Faculty of Informatics offers three master study programmes: Informatics, Applied Informatics and Teachers Training for Secondary Schools.

Informatics
Study field is determined for students with good primary knowledge and interested in deeper study of informatics as independent science discipline. Students take courses in which obtain deeper theoretical knowledge in Mathematical Computer Science and up-to-date findings in chosen specialization.

Applied Informatics
Master’s Degree Programme Applied Informatics is for students with bachelor or master degree in different fields and who have good starting presumptions. By the other studies they obtain and amplify more general knowledge in informatics. In sequence on previous study they could get interesting combined professional qualifications including advanced informatics knowledge (students concerned only for basic informatics knowledge should study some of the bachelor programmes).

Teachers Training for Secondary Schools
Master’s Degree Programme Teachers Training for Secondary Schools is for students with interest in teaching of IT at the secondary schools. Programme is studied in combination with another discipline from the offer of other faculties of Masaryk University.
