Informatics
Students of the Bachelor’s Degree Programme Informatics gain necessary theoretical knowledge and learn the principles of design and using of information technologies, which they can use in practice after completing bachelor study. Graduates have skills and knowledge that can be used for their following study in the Master’s Degree Programmes at the Masaryk University or other high school in the Czech Republic and also abroad.
Fields of Study
Mathematical Computer Science | Parallel and Distributed Systems | Computer Systems and Data Processing | Computer Networks and Communication | Computer Graphics and Image Processing | Programmable Technical Structures | Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing
Applied Informatics
Bachelor’s Degree Programme is for students with interest in interdisciplinary fields. Programme is setting for graduates who plan to start working without continuing in Master’s studies. Despite of that the study has not exclusively professional orientation and is not narrow specialised. The emphasis stays at enough wide primers so the graduates could be able to adapt at the technological development in the future or could continue to study at the Master’s level at the Masaryk University or other high school in the Czech republic and also abroad.
Fields of Study
Applied Informatics (specialisation Graphic Design) | Bioinformatics | Public Administration Informatics
Informatics with another discipline
Study of two disciplines is for students, who want to know basic theoretical and practical knowledge in informatics and also in another discipline (physics, mathematics). This study programme is primarily for students, who prepare for proffession of teacher at the secondary schools.
