ESL Student is a site with vocabulary quizzes, again for all levels. Also other features such as grammar, crosswords etc.

  • Picture Dictionary

    http://www.pdictionary.com/

The Internet Picture dictionary is very well organized. There are many pictures that cover basic vocabulary themes. There are also other activities for practicing vocabulary such as vocabulary flashcards, spelling activities or word scramble.

  • Enchanted Learning

    http://www.enchantedlearning.com/

"Little explorers" is another site where you can find many pictures for teaching your kids vocabulary. I like it because there is an English explanation for each word. I think the previous dictionary is better organised but this one contains more words.

  • ESL KidStuff

    http://www.eslkidstuff.com/

ESL KidStuff is a great site for vocabulary and other stuff. You do have to pay to use it but it is worthwhile. I have paid up for it and used it for a year and I got many useful flashcards and worksheets for practising vocabulary.

  • Kizclub

    http://www.kizclub.com/

Kizclub is a great kids site including vocabulary, reading, listening and more. It consists of pdf files that you can print out. I have tried the books so far for introducing new vocabulary and found it to be really good.
